Horizons at the University of Mississippi aims to build lasting relationships with students and families through its summer and year round activities. The Horizons summer program lasts for six weeks and involves a full day of academics, enrichment and recreation. A typical day starts with a nutritious breakfast and a morning of academics and swimming. After lunch, the students participate in a variety of enrichment and recreational activities to supplement classroom activities. One day per week is typically reserved for field trips that expand student experiences and create additional learning opportunities on and off campus. Horizons also engages students and families throughout the year with educational and enriching activities.
